The Swedish Foundation for Human Rights (SFHR) is a politically and religiously independent organisation established in 1991 to promote human rights internationally and in Sweden. The organisation was founded by Amnesty International – Swedish section, Diakonia, Save the Children Alliance, Swedish Red Cross and the Swedish Church. Since 2008, the SFHR is part of the Swedish popular education network Sensus, while maintaining its status as an independent foundation with its own board.
Our symbol is a doubleturned face symbolising our mission to both monitor and examine human rights. We always strive to contribute with different approaches and perspectives.
